Advisory Councils
The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering has two Advisory Councils.
A Student Advisory Council (SAC) whose purpose is to provide a mechanism for students to give constructive feedback on their educational experience. This partnership helps the department to communicate closely with the students, to learn first hand about the students' needs and concerns, and to gain invaluable insight into their perception of the program.
And an external Advisory Council whose purpose is to insure a positive linkage between the School of Engineering & Applied Science and business, industry, government and the health professions. This relationship can be fostered through understanding, cooperation, and striving for common objectives.
